Brand and Style Guide

PREP SCHOOL MARKS
The U.S. Air Force Academy Preparatory School, commonly referred to as the Prep School, has specific brand
guidelines that should be followed. Secondary marks are for use by the Prep School only. The Prep School uses
Academy Dark Blue, white or black individually, as the primary color signal.
Primary Marks
Our primary Prep School logomark is used in either Academy dark blue, white, or black. It is never displayed in Academy blue.
Secondary Marks
Primary Marks with Descriptor
Departments, units and clubs included in the list below can personalize the primary Prep School logo by following the guidelines and listing the title outside of the clearspace. Titles must be written below the primary mark in proper typeface (Cera or Trebuchet).
Athletic Wordmarks
When referring to Athletics within the Preparatory School, the U.S. Air Force Academy Athletic Wordmark with ‘Prep’ anchored as the descriptor should be used.
Secondary Athletic Wordmarks
Our secondary athletic mark is available in three versions for limited space and Prep School Athletics use only. It consists of our bolt and a custom letter “P” in a locked relationship.
Patch
The simplified patch for the Preparatory School is the only version approved for use. The previous version is no longer permitted and has been discontinued.
Color Palette
The Preparatory School uses Academy Dark Blue, Academy Silver and black, together or individually, as the primary color signal. White is seen as a secondary color that serves as a neutral background that allows our Dark Blue and Silver to stand out with strength and impact. Consistent color use ensures that the USAFA image is cohesively and uniformly represented across all the print and digital media incoming from all areas.
