Academy to accept DSA nominations until April 1

U.S. AIR FORCE ACADEMY, Colo. —

The Air Force Academy will take nominations for this year’s Distinguished Service Award through April 1.

The DSA was established in 1999 and is presented annually by the superintendent to a military person, civilian or group, whose contributions distinctly impacted the morale or wellbeing of the Academy.

Any individual or group that has contributed significantly and directly to the morale or wellbeing of the Academy through the donation of their time, resources or influence, is eligible. The DSA recognizes individuals who have contributed not as part of their official duties, but through their personal generosity and dedication to the Academy.

DSA nominations may be submitted to HQ USAFA/CM, Attention: DSA, 2304 Cadet Drive, Suite 3100, U.S. Air Force Academy, Colorado, 80840.

Nomination packages should include a single page with biographical data to include name and rank, if military; organization or company; telephone number; mailing address; and a typed narrative justification, not to exceed one page, describing the nominee’s accomplishments.
