Summer flying training operations at the U.S. Air Force Academy are gearing up and will run through July 31 this year. Flying operations at Davis Airfield take place year-round as part of the Academy’s Airmanship programs: soaring, powered flight, and parachute operations. The flight tempo increases at the airfield during the summer as cadets complete courses.
