Cadet built race cars to perform demo May 4

U.S. AIR FORCE ACADEMY, Colo. --  Air Force Academy cadets who designed and built race cars for the Formula SAE Collegiate design competition will drive and display the vehicles before Cadet Wing May 5. The cars were built as part of the Formula SAE Collegiate Design Series for the annual competition scheduled  May 8-11 at Michigan International Speedway, Brooklyn, MI.  More than 120 national and international student teams design, engineer fabricate, test and compete small Formula style open-wheeled race cars. USAFA to host Cycling Classic April 14-15

U.S. AIR FORCE ACADEMY, Colo. -- The Air Force Cadet Cycling Team is scheduled to host the Front Range Cycling Classic April 14-15. The event is slated for 8:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m. April 14 and 8 a.m-4 p.m. April 15. Drivers may expect a large number of cyclists on roads at the Air Force Academy and expect short delays, especially near the medical clinic. Race vehicles will escort large groups of cyclists.
