Secretary of the Air Force Public Affairs , April 11, 2019 ARLINGTON, Va (AFNS) -- The Air Force now has an enterprise-wide mobile app designed to provide Airmen with streamlined access to information they need for their lives and careers. Air Force Connect was one of six ideas to compete as a finalist in the 2018 Spark Tank competition, which provided the authority and funding to launch the app Air Force-wide. Air Force Academy offers spring wild turkey hunting

By Laurie Wilson, April 8, 2019 U.S. AIR FORCE ACADEMY, Colo. –-  Thanksgiving is months from now but outdoorsmen will be able to hunt wild turkeys on Academy grounds well before the holiday during two 10-person sessions April 13-May 3 and May 4-26. The archery-only event is hosted by the 10th Civil Engineering Squadron’s Natural Resources office to manage the wild turkey overpopulation. Participants are registered and have been selected in a random drawing held in March. Crossbows are not allowed. Air Force Academy to recognize latest distinguished graduates

U.S. Air Force Academy Public Affairs, April 3, 2019 U.S. AIR FORCE ACADEMY, Colo. -- Three retired generals and a retired colonel were added to the Air Force Academy’s Distinguished Graduate list, the Academy announced April 3. Retired Generals Chris Inglis, Edward Jayne, Mark Welsh and H. Michael Lambert, a retired colonel, are scheduled to be recognized at the Academy’s Founder’s Day Lunch, 11:30 a.m., April 5. Sections of Santa Fe Trail on Academy to close for repairs March 27-April 25

One of the lengthiest closures will be from March 27–April 3 at the Tri-Intersection bridge, while crews complete bridge work and re-establish the trail.
