Captain Connick is the Director of Resources and Instructor of Biology, Department of Biology, U.S. Air Force Academy, Colorado Springs, Colorado. She and her team implement biology coursework designed to create awareness, appreciation, and an understanding of science and the principles of scientific reasoning. She leads a team to procure resources, training, equipment, and developmental opportunities for the department of biology faculty and students. She is the head advisor CO2027 biology majors and an OIC for the climbing team.

Maj(s) Connick received her commission from the United States Air Force Academy in May 2015. She began her career as a 14N/Intelligence officer and has served numerous roles in that field including CENTCOM analyst, and Flight Commander of the Advanced GEOINT Analysis unit at Wright Patterson Air Force Base, OH. She completed a tour to Bagram and Kandahar Afghanistan as a tactical system operator and accomplished over 500 flight hours. She served as operations direct for the threat analysis flight, Chief of Targets for the Red Flag planning flight, and Flight Commander for the Red Flag Intel. She was selected for graduate school and completed a Masters in Molecular Biology from the University of Arizona.
