Bio

Lt Col Saunders is an Assistant Professor of Biology and serves as the Deputy Director of the Life Sciences Research Center (LSRC), Department of Biology, U.S. Air Force Academy, Colorado Springs, Colorado. Lt Col Saunders received her commission through the ROTC program in 2008. She has served in multiple positions as a scientist within the Air Force Research Labs and as an intelligence officer at the National Air and Space Intelligence Center.
