Mitchell Hall

Mitchell Hall, the cadet dining hall, is named in honor of air power pioneer Brigadier General William “Billy” Mitchell. This three and a half story structure sits on 1.7 acres and has the capability of serving the entire Cadet Wing (more than 4,000 people) simultaneously in less than 30 minutes.

Cadets are required to eat breakfast and lunch in Mitchell Hall, and since its opening, the hall has served these mandatory meals family style. Hot food items are served via warming carts within five minutes of the cadets taking their seats.
