Maj Edward A. Hazeldine is an Instructor of Computer and Cyber Sciences at the Dean of Faculty, United States Air Force Academy, Colo. He is responsible for educating, training, and inspiring men and women to become officers of character upon graduation and commissioning as second lieutenants. He develops lessons and teaches cadets the fundamentals of programming, networks, and data literacy.

The Major entered the Air Force in May 2014 through ROTC from Norwich University. He completed his bachelor’s degrees in computer science and information assurance in 2014 and then attended undergraduate combat systems officer training. He then went to Offutt AFB to become an Electronic Warfare Officer on the RC-135S COBRA BALL. In October 2021, he trained as an Electronic Warfare Officer on the RC-135U COMBAT SENT and then moved to Buckley Space Force Base. Prior to his current position, the Major was the COMBAT SENT Tasking and Requirements Officer, 566th IS, Buckley SFB, Colo.
