2nd Lieutenant Edie Bidne is a Research Analyst for the Air Force Office of Labor and Economic Analysis (OLEA). This position is located within the Dean of Faculty at the U.S Air Force Academy in Colorado. OLEA applies labor and economic analysis to inform Department of the Air Force senior leaders on personnel policy and human capital management decisions.
Lieutenant Bidne commissioned from the US Air Force Academy in Spring of 2025 with a Bachelor of Science in Economics. She completed the Air Force Initial Force Support Officer Training Course (IFSOC) in Fall of 2025. She has been working in her position as an operations research analyst since, acquiring skills in human capital investment and strategic decision making through various Air Force level workforce analysis projects.
