
Bio
Major Nathan Kinghorn is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Law, United States Air Force Academy. He has previously served in the legal office at the 4th Fighter Wing, Seymour Johnson Air Force Base, as Victims’ Counsel for the Little Rock Air Force Base.
Major Kinghorn graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree from Brigham Young University – Idaho in 2015, a Juris Doctorate degree from Brigham Young University J. Reuban Clarke Law School in 2018, and a Master of Laws degree from the University of Nebraska College of Law in 2025. Major Kinghorn commissioned through the Graduate Law Program (GLP) through AFROTC Det 855 at Brigham Young University in 2018. He is admitted to practice law before the Supreme Court of Idaho. Major Kinghorn is married to Tawny Kinghorn and has five children: Lydia (10), Peter (8), and Jacob (6), Samuel (3), and Thomas (1).
