Capt Houston is from Elizabeth, CO and entered the Air Force after graduating from the US Air Force Academy in 2018 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering. He then went on to gain experience as a base level Civil Engineer Officer at Ramstein AB, Germany and Osan AB, Republic of Korea. During these assignments he deployed as the Officer-in-charge of the Quality Assurance Team for the 1 ECEG conducting design reviews and field assessments of projects throughout the Middle East. He also oversaw logistical support for an aircraft crash recovery team as well as led the refugee beddown of the largest humanitarian airlift ever conducted. He then completed a double Masters of Science in Structural Engineering and Space Resources at Colorado School of Mines. He is now an instructor at the US Air Force Academy.
