
Bio
Captain Emma Stonehill is an Instructor in the Department of Philosophy at the U.S. Air Force Academy, Colorado Springs, Colorado. She teaches courses in western philosophy, ethics, just war theory, and military professionalism. Emma is a Missileer with six years of operational experience at F.E. Warren Air Force Base, Wyoming, where she served as a flight commander, instructor, evaluator, and mission lead. She is an Academy graduate, where she was a military freefall instructor and demonstrator on the Wings of Blue Parachute Team. She enjoys spending her free time outdoors with her family, especially mountain biking, hiking, and snowboarding.
