
Bio
Capt. Dylan A. Hyder is an Instructor of Computer Science at the U.S. Air Force Academy, Colorado, where he is responsible for educating, training, and inspiring men and women to become officers of character upon graduation and commissioning as second lieutenants.
Capt. Hyder commissioned from the U.S. Air Force Academy in 2017 with a Bachelor of Science in Operations Research. He received his Master of Science in Operations Research from the Air Force Institute of Technology in 2019.
Prior to his current position, the captain was the Analyst Flight Commander for the 86th Fighter Weapons Squadron, 53rd Wing, Air Combat Command, Hill AFB, Utah. He led a team of five and was responsible for the collection, analysis, and distribution of data from the Department of the Air Forces only Air-to-Ground Weapon System Evaluation Program.
During his assignment with the Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL), 711th Human Performance Wing in the Airman Systems Directorate, Capt Hyder supported Human-Centered Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance research.
