Bio
Capt Anna Broadbent is an Instructor of Management at the U.S. Air Force Academy, Colorado. She also serves as the Director of Information and Technology for the Department of Management. Prior to her current position, Capt Broadbent provided acquisition support for the Defensive Cyber Operations for Space program office under at Peterson Space Force Base, Colorado. In this role, she managed contract execution, to include overseeing contract cost, schedule, and performance for a 64-million-dollar program, enabling the development of four software product lines to provide network attack detection on 5 space weapon systems for the United States Space Force.
Capt Broadbent enlisted in the United States Air Force in August of 2008. After completing Basic Military Training at Lackland AFB, Texas, she attended a 13-month technical training for Radiology Technology at Sheppard AFB, Texas, and Travis AFB, California. She was the lead Radiology Technologist at Hill AFB, Utah for four years before being selected as an Enlisted Professional Military Education Instructor for Airman Leadership School at Spangdahlem AB, Germany. After completing a 3-year tour as an ALS Instructor, she transitioned back to the medical field as the Section Chief of the Radiology Department at Joint Base Langley-Eustis, Virginia. Capt Broadbent was commissioned through Officer Training School at Maxwell AFB, Alabama, in September 2019.
