Bio
Lieutenant Colonel Sanghyun Lee is the Distinguished Visiting Professor in the Department of Astronautics at the United States Air Force Academy, Colorado. He graduated from the Republic of Korea Air Force Academy in 2001, as a Distinguished Graduate with a Bachelor of Science degree in Aeronautical Engineering. In 2004 he earned his Master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering from Seoul National University in 2004. Lt Col Lee later earned his PhD in Aerospace Engineering from the Texas A&M University.
Lieutenant Colonel Lee is the Professor at the Republic of Korea Air Force Academy, where he has taught since 2004 in the Department of Aerospace Engineering. His research includes orbital mechanics, satellite constellation design, alternative navigation system, and engineering education with funded work from the National Research Foundation of Korea and government-funded program.
