Bio

​Lt Col Brant Tretter is a Senior Instructor, Department of Military and Strategic Studies, at the U.S. Air Force Academy, Colo. He teaches courses in basic military theory and advanced studies in space and cyberspace strategy. Prior to his current position, he served as Inspector General, 39th Air Base Wing, Incirlik Air Base, Turkey. In this role, ensured nuclear surety and wing mission readiness, executing the wing’s exercise, inspection, and complaints programs, encompassing over 2000 personnel, 3 Geographically Separated Units, and 25 organizations.

Lt Col Tretter earned his commission from the U.S. Air Force Academy in 2004. He has served in a variety of positions, to include leading deployable communications teams, managing theater network operations, and planning national-level cyberspace operations.
