Bio

​Lt Col Brant Tretter is an Instructor, Department of Military and Strategic Studies, at the United States Air Force Academy, Colorado.  Prior to his current position, he served as Commander, Detachment 1, U.S. Air Force Warfare Center, Schriever Air Force Base, Colorado, and oversaw its transition to the United States Space Force, becoming Chief of Staff, Space Training And Readiness Delta (Provisional). In this role, he coordinated efforts across 12 units and 920 personnel, setting conditions for establishment of the Space Training And Readiness Command, one of three field commands in the Space Force. Additionally, he provided mission support to 14 units and 750 personnel, including the United States Space Command J3 and J2 Directorates, overseeing a $280 million budget for information technology, security, and facilities management contract support.

Lt Col Tretter earned his commission from the U.S. Air Force Academy in 2004. He has served in a variety of positions, to include leading deployable communications teams, managing theater network operations, and planning national-level cyberspace operations.
