Bio

Captain Geoffrey D. Wilson is the Chief of Remediation, Commandant of Cadets, U.S. Air Force Academy, Colo. Captain Wilson oversees honor case processing, sanctions administration, honor probatee progress, and honor education, while leading research and presenting proposals to senior Academy leaders in accordance with strategic goals and objectives. Additionally, he researches and drafts responses for parental, legal, and congressional inquiries, and oversees the rehabilitation process for cadets who commit Cadet Honor Code violations. This vital role serves as a developmental framework involving mentorship, reflection, and restoration rather than immediate expulsion, placing participating cadets on a structured, multi-month probationary and training period designed to realign them with institutional values.

Captain Wilson commissioned through the Academy in May 2018. He attended undergraduate cyber training at Keesler Air Force Base, Miss., graduating in May 2019, and since then has held a variety of communications operations, project management, and Officer-in-Charge positions. Prior to his current position, Captain Wilson was the Chief, Commander’s Inspection Program, Cadet Wing, U.S. Air Force Academy, Colo.

Captain Wilson served as Flight Commander for both Network Systems and Mission Systems within the 726th Air Control Squadron, directing expeditionary communications operations and in-garrison training. He has significant operational and deployment experience, having commanded Detachment 4 and Detachment 9 of the 727th Expeditionary Air Control Squadron in Southwest Asia and at Al Dhafra Air Base, United Arab Emirates, where he restored critical radar assets and managed multi-million dollar defense infrastructure in support of Operations INHERENT RESOLVE and SPARTAN SHIELD.
