Bio
Dr. Alec Hoover is an Assistant Professor and Research Analyst for the Office of Labor and Economic Analysis. Prior to joining the U.S. Air Force Academy, he earned a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of California San Diego.
Dr Hoover’s research focuses on the impact of an individual’s social and policy environment on their human capital decisions. His current work explores the impact of workplace peers on health and fitness as well as adult education decisions. Outside of work, Alec is an avid runner.
