Bio

Born in Dayton, Ohio, Maj Nuhn grew up a stone’s throw from Wright-Patterson Air Force Base. After earning his undergraduate degree at the Ohio State University, he worked in natural resources management for seven years prior to returning to school to secure a law degree. In May of 2007, Maj Nuhn earned his J.D. from the University of Toledo College of Law and was admitted to the Ohio bar that fall. He entered active duty in January 2008 by direct commission. Maj Nuhn earned his Environmental Law LL.M. degree with highest honors from George Washington University Law School in 2016.

USAFA is Maj Nuhn’s eleventh active-duty U.S. Air Force assignment in addition to three six-month combat zone deployments. He cohabitates with a mutt named Kiddo.
