Lt Col Michael Josephson is the Director of Operations in the Department of Military and Strategic Studies, U.S. Air Force Academy, Colo. Prior to this assignment, he was the Deputy Director of AFOSI’s Information Technology Services and Solutions directorate, leading AFOSI’s largest headquarters directorate, providing IT support to 267 geographically separated units across the globe. Lt Col Josephson commissioned as a Second Lieutenant in 2010. He graduated from the U.S. Air Force Special Investigations Academy at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center in Brunswick, Ga. in May 2011. Lt Col Josephson deployed to FOB Torkham, Afghanistan in 2013 in support of OEF, to Burkina Faso in 2014 in support of OEF Trans-Sahara, and to Estonia in 2015 in support of Atlantic Resolve.
