Lieutenant Colonel Marc E. Marmino is an Assistant Professor of Military & Strategic Studies and the Deputy Director of the Strategy & Warfare Center at the U.S. Air Force Academy. Previously, he was the Commander of the 37th Intelligence Squadron at Joint Base Pearl Harbor Hickam, Hawaii. He led 130 Airmen who conduct vital missions in support of 16th Air Force, U.S. Cyber Command, the National Security Agency and U.S. Indo-Pacific Command. The 37th includes cyber professionals, intelligence specialists, and language analysts working in the Cyber Security Directorate, Computer Network Operations, and the Enterprise Discovery Office at multiple sites on Oahu.

Lt Col Marmino entered the Air Force in 2007 through the U.S. Air Force Academy. He has served in a variety of operational and staff assignments and has deployed extensively. Some of his deployments include participation in Operations Iraqi Freedom, Enduring Freedom, Odyssey Dawn, and Unified Protector. Prior to his current position, Lt Col Marmino was Chief of the ISR Operations and Analysis Division, Headquarters Pacific Air Forces (PACAF), Joint Base Pearl Harbor Hickam, Hawaii.

Lt Col Marmino is a career intelligence officer, member of the Language Enabled Airman Program (LEAP), fluent in Chinese Mandarin and published in several contemporary academic journals.
