Bio

Lt. Col. Benjamin N. Heruska currently serves as the Head of the U.S. Air Force Academy’s Department of Computer and Cyber Sciences. Before this, he served as the Chief Technology Officer and Chief Engineer at the 688th Cyberspace Wing where he directed enterprise technology transformation and 24/7 global cyber operations for over 3,000 personnel across 27 locations, managing five cyberspace weapon systems to secure the $14B Air Force Information Network for 850K Total Force Airmen.

Previously, Lt. Col. Heruska served as the Director of Operations for the 33rd Cyberspace Operations Squadron where he led a 428-person workforce, managing $623M in cyber weapon systems and driving tactical incident response to protect 865K endpoints across 20 global commands.
