7:30 a.m.-3 p.m. | Parents’ Club Presidents Conference location: Doolittle Hall attendance: by invitation only The conference offers Parents’ Club presidents information and briefings from academy organizations and senior staff. |
4:30 p.m.-6 p.m. | Senior Leader Panel with Parent Q&A Session location: Arnold Hall Theater attendance: no cadets, all cadet guests welcome The forum is an opportunity for new and returning cadet parents to receive an overview of USAFA programs from senior staff, including the new Superintendent, new Commandant of Cadets, Dean of the Faculty, Athletic Director and Admissions Director. Q&A session will follow presentations. Arrive at 4 p.m. to enjoy musical talents of the USAFA Band. |

8:20 a.m.-8:50 a.m. | Cadet Aviation Capabilities Exercise (CAPEX) & Pre-Parade Demonstrations location: Stillman Field attendance: all guests are welcome Watch the USAFA Wings of Blue parachute team, your national champion glider team and U.S. Air Force Academy powered flight aircraft as they demonstrate the various cadet-led aviation and leadership programs offered during their four years at the Academy. Note: Water will be provided during the exercise and cadet wing parade. Only empty containers for water will be allowed in to the parade field. |
9 a.m.-10 a.m. | Cadet Wing Parade location: Stillman Field attendance: mandatory for all cadets, all guests are welcome Meet with your cadet on the parade field, following the parade, to be escorted into the Cadet Area. |
9 a.m.-4 p.m. | Parents’ Weekend Information Fair location: Arnold Hall Ballroom attendance: cadets and their guests The Info Fair offers invaluable information and giveaways from many Academy and cadet organizations. Purchase cadet “Warrior” photos and preorder BCT yearbooks. Stop by to have a photo taken with your cadet. Lunch will be available in Richter Lounge and food trucks outside Arnold Hall. Do not miss this popular event! Arnold Hall will be open to visitors 7 a.m.-10 p.m. |
10:15 a.m.-11:45 a.m. | Academic Open House location: Fairchild Hall attendance: 3rd and 4th class cadets and their guests Visit our academic building and talk to faculty about majors. Sessions include demonstrations and an opportunity to meet your cadet’s faculty. |
10:15 a.m.-11:45 a.m. | Squadron Open Houses location: Vandenberg and Sijan Hall attendance: 1st and 2nd class cadets and their guests Don’t miss this opportunity to visit your cadet’s dormitory and meet their Air Officer Commander, Academy Military Training and squadron leadership. |
12 p.m.-5 p.m. | Airfield Open House location: Academy Airfield attendance: cadets and their guests Come view static displays of USAFA aircraft and parachuting equipment and visit with the staff of the 306th Flying Training Group. If driving, cadets or DOD ID cardholder must escort their guests to the airfield. Guests may take shuttles departing from Fairchild bus stop at 11:30 a.m./12:30 p.m./1:30 p.m./2:30 p.m./3:30 p.m./4:30 p.m. and returning 12:00 p.m./1:00 p.m./2:00 p.m./3:00 p.m./4:00 p.m./5:00 p.m. |
12 p.m.-1 p.m. | Optional Luncheon location: Mitchell Hall attendance:guests are welcome Cadets must purchase guest tickets in advance through their squadrons. Tickets are $5.60 each. |
12 p.m.-1 p.m. | Squadron Picnics location: various locations attendance: cadets and their guests |
1 p.m.-2 p.m. | CCLD Open House location: Polaris Hall; meet at Arnold Hall entrance attendance: cadets and their guests |
1 p.m.-2 p.m. | AOG Heritage Trail Tour location: Doolittle Hall attendance: cadets and their guests |
1:30 p.m.-3 p.m. | Athletics Open House location: Cadet Gymnasium, Cadet Field House, Hall of Excellence attendance: cadets and their guests Lt Col Anderson welcomes parents in the Boxing Room (Cadet Gym) with opening remarks at 1 p.m. Immediately following remarks, Phys. Ed. faculty will offer guided tours departing every 15 minutes starting at 1:15 p.m. |
1:30 p.m.-3 p.m. | Academic Department Open Houses location: Fairchild Hall attendance: 1st and 2nd class cadets and their guests Visit our academic building and the various academic departments. Open houses include demonstrations and an opportunity to meet your cadet’s faculty. Also, learn about career paths across the Air Force. |
1:30 p.m.-3 p.m. | Squadron Open Houses location: Vandenberg and Sijan Hall attendance: 3rd and 4th class cadets and their guests Don’t miss this opportunity to visit your cadet’s dormitory and meet their squadron leadership. |
4:30 p.m. | Cadets Dismissed Cadets may leave the Academy with their adult guests at 4:30 p.m. or after LMD, whichever is later. Cadets must attend accountability formation Saturday morning. |
5 p.m.-7 p.m. | Dinner Buffet location: Mitchell Hall attendance: Open to cadets and their guests Guests may purchase tickets from cashier. Tickets are $4.85 each. |

8:30 a.m. | Squadron Accountability Formation location: Falcon Stadium attendance: second, third and fourth-class cadets All second, third and fourth-class cadets report to squadron accountability formations at the stadium. Note: to avoid inbound game day traffic, please drop your cadet off in the cadet academic area in time to be transported to Falcon Stadium. If you decide to drop off your cadet at the stadium you may not be able to leave until after the game begins. |
9:30 a.m. | Squadron Accountability Formation location: Falcon Stadium attendance: first-class cadets All first-class cadets report to squadron accountability formations at the stadium. Note: to avoid inbound game day traffic, please drop your cadet off in the cadet academic area in time to be transported to Falcon Stadium. 12:05 p.m. | Home Football Game vs. Stony Brook University location: Falcon Stadium attendance: open to the public For tickets, purchase online from the Athletic Ticket Office or call (800) 666-8723 or (719) 472-1895. Cadets are required to attend the game but must sit with the cadet wing; they do not need to purchase tickets. Cadets may meet their guests and depart Falcon Stadium after the third verse of the Air Force Song at the conclusion of the game; cadets must sign in by Monday at 7:10 p.m. (10:45 p.m. for first-class cadets) |

10 a.m.-2 p.m. | Jacks Valley Orientation Tour location: field house parking lot attendance: cadets must escort their guests Shuttle buses will run from the field house parking lots every 15 minutes. The last bus departs for Jack’s Valley at 1:30 p.m. and the last bus returns to the parking lot at 2:30 p.m. Note: Jack’s Valley is an outdoor training facility. Tour participants should expect to do a lot of walking. |
