U.S. AIR FORCE ACADEMY, Colo. — U.S. Air Force Academy Superintendent Lt. Gen. Richard Clark celebrated Thanksgiving with the Cadet Wing with a full-course holiday meal in Mitchell Hall, prepared by the dining hall’s staff, Nov. 26.

The superintendent encouraged cadets and all at the Academy to be thankful for their friends, families and fellow cadets, as the Academy continues to function safely despite the coronavirus pandemic.

Clark, a 1986 Academy graduate, helped serve the cadets and thanked them for helping the school navigate its way through the COVID-19 pandemic.

The staff at Mitchell Hall prepared about 4,000 meals for the cadets who stayed at the Academy for the Thanksgiving holiday due to the coronavirus pandemic. When the decision was made to keep cadets at the school, Clark and his senior staff developed a plan to give cadets a full-course holiday meal.
