Partner Relations
Technology Transfer and Agreements
Through the use of different agreements, the U.S. Air Force Academy is able to form partnerships to enhance technologies, bring to market new innovations, and contribute to the needs and betterment of the Air Force.
- Cooperative Research and Development Agreements (CRADAs) enable our partners to use the expertise of Academy faculty, assistance of cadets and expanse of our facilities. CRADAs also allow us to utilize outside expertise and equipment to further our own ongoing research.
- We also have long-term partnerships with state non-profits through the use of Partnership Intermediary Agreements (PIAs).
- Academy patent technologies are available to industry partners through the use of Patent License Agreements (PLAs).
