This is your official Air Force Academy History Update for Tuesday, January 27th — 

On this day, back in 1969 — The Cadet Forum on Public Affairs hosts a four-person team of diplomats.  The group visited the Academy as part of a week-long series, the Colorado Community Meetings on Foreign Policy. 

…Also on this day, back in 2012 – Retired Colonel John Marshall, Class of ’66, is presented with the NASA Exceptional Public Service Medal by NASA Administrator Charles Bolden during a ceremony held at NASA Headquarters in Washington D.C.  He was recognized for his eight years of service as a member of the Aerospace Safety Advisory Panel.
