This is your official Air Force Academy History Update for Friday, February 6th —  

On this day, back in 1957 — The men’s basketball team defeats Colorado College 104-53, reaching the 100-point mark for the first time in school history.  

…Also on this day, back in 2023 — The U.S. Astronaut Hall of Fame announces that it will induct Retired Major General Roy Bridges Jr., Class of ’65, into its ranks during a ceremony scheduled for May 2023.  Entering the Hall of Fame at the same time would be Retired Navy Captain and U.S. Senator Mark Kelly.
