FalconSAT builds future space leaders

No trespassing: 10 SFS issues ‘surface danger’ area notice

10th Security Forces Squadron/Oct. 10, 2017 An area used for weapons training by 10th Security Forces Airmen is off-limits to anyone not conducting official training or without the approval of the 10th SFS. The "surface danger area," is in the northwest part of the Air Force Academy near Cathedral Rock. It's marked by off-limit signs. Anyone in the area without permission may be detained and could face prosecution under federal and civil law. Call 719-333-2218, 333-3124 or 333-0999, 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m., to coordinate a visit into this training zone. Call 333-2000 after normal business hours.
