Bio

Colonel Uribe is Chair Humanities Division and Professor and Head, Department of Foreign Languages, Headquarters U.S. Air Force Academy, Colorado.

Colonel Uribe was born 6 November, 1964 in Juarez, Mexico. He immigrated to the United States in 1978 and became a United States Citizen in 1984. He entered the Air Force Academy Preparatory School in July 1983 and earned an appointment to the Air Force Academy with the class of 1988. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Astronautical Engineering and was commissioned a 2nd Lieutenant in the US Air Force on 1 June, 1988. He began his career in the Air Force as a Strategic Missile Guidance Systems Engineer at Vandenberg AFB in August, 1988.

Col Uribe is married with two children.
