Ms. Andrea Doyle

Bio
Ms. Andrea Doyle is the Department of State Visiting Professor for the Department of Political Science at the U.S. Air Force Academy. Since entering the Foreign Service as a Political Officer, Ms. Doyle has served in Washington, DC, Thailand, Peru, Costa Rica, and Singapore. She has also served with the Department of Defense as the Foreign Policy Advisor to Marine Corps Forces, South, and with the NORTHCOM J3 Directorate of Operations. Ms. Doyle has developed regional knowledge of Latin America and Southeast Asia as well as expertise in refugee assistance and resettlement, international trade, counternarcotics, counterproliferation, and complex political-military affairs.
Before joining the Foreign Service, Ms. Doyle held various positions in government and international affairs: serving on Capitol Hill as a staffer to a Member of Congress; working product liability cases at the law firm Jones Day Reavis & Pogue; volunteering in community development with the Peace Corps; monitoring the Convention on the Rights of the Child at the UNICEF East Asia Regional Office; supporting budget negotiations with the Office of Management and Budget’s National Security and International Affairs Division; and, practicing international trade law at the Department of Homeland Security’s Customs and Border Protection Office of Regulations and Ruling.
