
Bio
Lt Col Timothy Truong is a logistics readiness officer currently serving as an instructor in the Department of Political Science at the U.S. Air Force Academy, Colorado. As an Instructor of Political Science, he teaches classes on American Government, Politics, National Security, and International Relations. A graduate of the United States Air Force Academy, he has dedicated his career to leadership roles within logistics, education, and operations, managing substantial resources and personnel as well as teaching AFROTC at Penn State. His experience spans across the globe, being stationed in Japan, Turkey, and Korea, with deployments supporting critical missions such as Operation United Assistance (Ebola relief), Operation Freedom's Sentinel in Kabul as an Afghan Senior Logistics Advisor, and as FEMA logistics support during Hurricane Ian, Helene, and Milton. He and his wife, Kate, have two presidential cats, Jimmy and Teddy, and two presidential dogs, Lincoln and Quincy.
