
Bio
Capt Cameron McMahan is an instructor within the Department of Mathematical Sciencies, Dean of Faculty, United Sates Air Force Academy, Colorado. He is currently teaching a modernized version of Calculus to freshmen cadets.
Capt McMahan commissioned through the Air Force Reserve Officers’ Training Corp in December of 2019. Simultaneously, he graduated from the University of New Mexico with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering. In 2024, he earned his Master of Science degree in Aeronautical Engineering from the Air Force Institute of Technology. He has a total of four years active-duty experience and served as a Space Force responsible engineer for the Launch Enterprise at Space Systems Command. His previous assignments include Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio and Los Angeles Air Force Base, California. Prior to his current position, the captain was a master's student at the Air Force Institute of Technology located at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio.
