Bio
Major Beaulieu serves as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Law (DFLA) at the United States Air Force Academy. The DFLA team consists of 20 faculty and staff that engage in the design and teaching of 19 core and elective law courses, in scholarship across a variety of disciplines, in the legal support to the administration of the Cadet Honor System, and in the development of officers of character for the U.S. Air Force.
Prior to law school, Maj Beaulieu taught secondary English in the Arkansas Delta with Teach for America. While in law school, he served as an Air Force legal intern for both Seymour Johnson and MacDill Air Force Bases; externed for the U.S. Department of Justice; worked as a teaching assistant for “Distinctive Aspects of U.S. Law;” participated in the Guantanamo Bay Defense Clinic and the Moot Court Board; and served as the president of the National Security Law Society.
In 2015, he received a direct commission into the U.S. Air Force and graduated as the Top Graduate from Commissioned Officer Training. He is admitted to practice law in North Carolina.
