Bio

Chief Nuclear Strategist for Air Force Global Strike Command, Futures Division, A5P. Imbedded within the Institute of National Security Studies at the US Air Force Academy. Duties include current and future capabilities gap analysis and technology maturation to fill Global Strike Command requirements and priorities. Lead strategist for developing Global Strike Command roadmaps for nuclear warfighting and deterrence efforts. Focus on nuclear platforms, weapons, capabilities and policy as they pertain to Global Strike equities and the warfighter. Blending and sourcing solutions between industry, national laboratories, and academia to ensure Strikers have the tools and bandwidth to execute deterrence and operational missions in support of USSTRATCOM OPLANs.

Lt Col Glover was commissioned in the Air Force after graduating from the United States Air Force Academy in 2009. He served in a variety of key roles within the Intercontinental Ballistic Missile community including: Instructor, Evaluator, Flight Commander, and Assistant Director of Operations. He served as Executive Officer, Office of Defense Programs, National Nuclear Security Administration where his efforts ensured successful execution of a $5B Stockpile Stewardship Program to support $25B of Department of Energy nuclear sustainment programs. Lt Col Glover served as a Presidential Nuclear Strike Advisor and Assistant Deputy Director of Operations in the National Military Command Center where he used presidential intent to nominate nuclear strike options and transmit orders on behalf of the President. He led a joint and inter-agency team on nuclear and conventional global strike operations and the execution of the National Military Command System on behalf of the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs and served as Executive Assistant to the Deputy Director for Nuclear and Homeland Defense Operations, J-36, the Joint Staff, Pentagon, Washington D.C. Prior to his current position, he spent a year as a DoD Nuclear Technical Lab Fellow at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory, CA.
