Bio

Capt Brady Gartman serves an Instructor of Economics in the Department of Economics and Geosciences. In this role he has taught Introduction to Economics and has served as Course Director for Economics of Inequality and Quantitative Economic Methods. His academic interests include applied econometric research in the fields of education and inequality and the Science of Teaching and Learning.

Capt Gartman received his commission from the Air Force Academy in 2017 as a Distinguished Graduate. He holds a master’s degree in Economics from New York University, where his capstone work explored novel pricing models for Bordeaux Grand Crus wines. Prior to this assignment, Capt Gartman served as an Operational Test Analyst at Kirtland AFB, NM. In this role he led certifications of technical adequacy for the Operational Test and Evaluation of major DoD acquisitions, implemented operational assessment plans for a combined Command Post Exercise, and developed and delivered a DRU-level statistical skills training program.
