Bio

Capt Jeremy Jacobellis graduated from the United States Air Force Academy in 2017. Upon graduation, as the 2017 Holaday Scholar, he attended Exeter College, University of Oxford, where he earned a Master of Philosophy in Modern Middle Eastern Studies with a focus on North African history.

After graduate school, Capt Jacobellis completed the Public Affairs Qualification Course at the Defense Information School, Ft. Meade, Maryland, and then worked as a public affairs officer in a variety of roles at Dover AFB, Delaware, to include chief of public affairs for the 436th Airlift Wing. After this assignment, he served as chief of public affairs for the 39th Air Base Wing at Incirlik AB, Turkey. Capt Jacobellis now serves as an instructor of history at the United States Air Force Academy.

Capt Jacobellis is currently a member of the Language Enabled Airmen Program (LEAP) for both French and Modern Standard Arabic. He has provided translation and interpretation support for numerous combined training events and international conferences.
