Chief Master Sgt. Michael W. Deiderich is the Senior Enlisted Leader to the Dean of Faculty, U.S. Air Force Academy, Colorado Springs, Colorado. He serves as the senior advisor to the Dean of Faculty on all enlisted matters. He supports 750 uniformed and civilian faculty members responsible for delivering over 2 million course hours and 31 majors across 23 departments for 4,400 cadets annually. Chief Deiderich also leads the development of U.S. Air Force Academy enlisted cadre, thus leveraging enlisted talent and providing Academy cadets with a diverse educational experience. Additionally, Chief Deiderich is an instructor in the university’s Department of Management.

Chief Deiderich enlisted in the U.S. Air Force in June 2001 out of Tipp City, Ohio, and completed Basic Military Training at Lackland Air Force Base, Texas. He has served in various positions at the squadron, group, wing and major command levels. His assignments include bases in Arkansas, Japan, Florida, Guam, Washington and Colorado and deployments supporting Operations ENDURING FREEDOM, IRAQI FREEDOM, NEW DAWN and INHERENT RESOLVE.
