Cpatain Zachary Condon
Instructor of Physics
Capt Zachary Condon was commissioned following graduation from the University of Delaware. He started his career in pilot training but was medically removed from the program, after which he transitioned into the 61D (physicist) career field. His first assignment as a 61D was to the Air Force Technical Application Center at Patrick AFB, FL. In this position, he served as section chief for a team working on novel methods of nuclear treaty monitoring.
Following that assignment, Capt Condon attended the Air Force Institute of Technology and attained a Master’s Degree in Nuclear Engineering. His current assignment is at USAFA as an instructor of physics, where he has taught core physics classes as well as an advanced nuclear weapons engineering course.
