Bio

Lt Col Winston M. Jean-Pierre is the Director of Operations of the Department of History stationed at United States Air Force Academy, Colo. He is responsible for overseeing the department’s budget of $50,000 in appropriated funds and $140,000 in gift funds, and for managing a $100K technology program to enable the successful cultivation of warrior-scholars. Additionally, he educates over 400 cadets in world history, driving the Academy’s institutional outcome of developing adaptable critical thinkers.

Lt Col Jean-Pierre entered the Air Force by commissioning from the Academy in Colorado Springs, Colo. He served in various Air Battle Manager positions, culminating as an evaluator. In his Southwest Asia deployments, he and his crew provided early warning, threat detection and battle management for coalition aircraft in Afghanistan, Iraq and Syria during Operations Enduring Freedom, Inherent Resolve, Spartan Sheild, Cobalt Shield and as the Chief of C2 and ISR of the 9 AF (AFCENT) Future Operations Branch, Al Udeid AB, Qatar where he planned 20 operations to integrate air assets into AFCENT’s pressure campaign against strategic competitors, regional disruptors, and violent extremist organizations.
