Major Elisha Henry Conway graduated from the U.S. Air Force Academy in 2013. After graduation, Elisha attended the University of Maryland, where she earned a Master of Public Policy in 2015. Elisha then attended U.S. Air Force Intelligence Officer Training at Goodfellow Air Force Base, Texas.

Upon completion of technical school in 2016, Major Conway served in the Intelligence Directorate, U.S. Air Force Academy Air Forces Europe – Air Forces Africa at Ramstein Air Base, Germany. There, Elisha was selected to participate in the Chief of Staff of the Air Force PhD program and began her doctoral studies in Russian and Eastern European History at Georgetown University in 2018. Following her coursework, Elisha continued serving in the National Capitol Region in multiple roles at the Defense Intelligence Agency and the Office of the Director of National Intelligence. Elisha joined the Department of History as Assistant Professor in the summer of 2026.
