
Bio
Captain Lawrence “Larry” King graduated from the U.S. Air Force Academy in 2020. Upon graduation, he attended graduate school at New York University, where he earned a Master of Arts degree in History in 2022. After graduation from NYU, Larry started his career as a Security Forces Officer. He has served as Flight Commander at Francis E. Warren Air Force Base in support of the nuclear security mission. Additionally, Capt King has contributed to base defense, law enforcement, wartime contingency, and military working dog missions while stationed at Osan Air Base in South Korea, in addition to serving as Officer-in-Charge, Logistics.
In addition to his work at NYU, Larry has completed graduate certificate coursework in nuclear studies through the Air Force Institute of Technology. He is also an active member of the Air Force’s Language Enabled Airmen Program in Spanish. Capt King now serves as an Instructor of History at Academy.
