Weekend of April 11th and 12th

This is your official Air Force Academy History Update for the Weekend of April 11th and 12th — 

On this day, back in 1977 — The Academy’s Wings of Blue parachute team beats the Army’s Golden Knights in team accuracy for the first time ever at the U.S. National meet. 

…Also this weekend, back in 2021 — Cadet Joi Harvey, Class of ’24, is named the Mountain West Freshman of the Year.  She was the first Air Force player to earn a volleyball postseason award from the Mountain West, and the first in any division since Barbara Martin, Class of ‘86, was named Most Valuable Player of the Continental Divide Conference in 1984.
