Bio
R. Aubrey Davis III is an Assistant Professor of Law at the United States Air Force Academy (USAFA). He serves as the Director of Law and Emerging Technology for USAFA’s Law, Technology, and Warfare Research Cell (LTWRC). Prof. Davis teaches in USAFA’s Department of Law focusing on international law, space, cyberspace, and emerging technology curricula. He developed a course in Law and Emerging Technology which he teaches at USAFA. He has served as an Army Aviation Officer, Intelligence Officer, and Judge Advocate over the span of a 32-year career in operations on four continents.

Research and Scholarly Interests
His research concentration focuses on the nexus between technology, law, ethics, and warfare with particular emphasis on quantum information science, artificial intelligence, biotechnology, and related emerging technologies.
