
Bio
Captain Anna C. Mason is an Instructor in the Department of Aeronautics at the United States Air Force Academy, Colorado. She instructs the core aeronautical engineering class and the static and dynamic stability courses. She is an academic advisor for 30 cadets and is one of the mentors for the OCF Class of 2027.
Captain Mason entered the Air Force in 2018 as a distinguished graduate of the U.S. Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, Colorado. After completing her master's degree in aeronautical engineering, she worked at the National Air and Space Intelligence Center (NASIC) as an engineer. Captain Mason's work helped progress the DoD's ability to simulate the behavior of adversary pilots. She was selected to stand up a new Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (C4ISR) modeling and simulation flight. She revamped the NASIC Circuit briefing, allowing over 50 engagements with senior DoD, DAF, and Congressional leaders. Captain Mason was awarded NASIC CGO of the Year in 2022.
