Bio

Lieutenant Luke Kenworthy graduated from Harvard in 2021, where he received his bachelor's and master's in Computer Science concurrently. He currently serves as an Instructor of Computer Science at the United States Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs. His previous teaching experience consists of working as a teaching assistant for three different computer science and data science classes at Harvard University.

Previously, Lieutenant Kenworthy served as the lead operational test analyst over a $33 billion portfolio of space systems in the 4th Test and Evaluation Squadron at Peterson Space Force Base.

Lieutenant Kenworthy has a background in artificial intelligence research, having spent two summers as a research intern at the Department of the Air Force Massachusetts Institute of Technology Artificial Intelligence Accelerator before starting active duty. He returned while on active duty to complete a four-month fellowship. There, he worked on machine learning projects related to flight scheduling, pilot fatigue recognition, and satellite maneuver detection.

Outside of work, Lieutenant Kenworthy volunteers on the leadership team for the Catholic Diocese of Colorado Springs Young Adult Ministry, where he coordinates homeless outreach opportunities and Bible study. He also enjoys reading, research, running, lifting, and hanging out with his friends.
