Bio

Colonel Meredith Beavers is the Commander, Cadet Group Two, Commandant of Cadets, U.S. Air Force Academy, Colorado Springs, Colorado. She is responsible for motivating, training, and developing 10 squadrons comprised 10 Field Grade Officers, 20 Senior Non-Commissioned Officers, and 1,100 cadets, ensuring cadets become officers of character culminating in an undergraduate degree and commission in the US Air and Space Forces.

Col Beavers entered the Air Force in May 2002 as a graduate of the Academy. She earned her pilot wings in September 2004 and her aviation assignments include various assignments piloting the UH-1 helicopter, MQ-9 and RQ-170 aircraft.

Col Beavers has commanded at various levels including the 30th Reconnaissance Squadron Detachment at Kandahar Airfield, Afghanistan, Cadet Squadron 39 at the U.S. Air Force Academy, CO, and 16th Training Squadron, Holloman Air Force Base, NM. Prior to assuming her current position, Col Beavers commanded 16th Training Squadron at Holloman AFB, NM.
