Bio

Master Sergeant Bonnie Rushing is the Course Director of MSS 251, “Airpower & Joint Operations Strategy,” and Instructor at the Department of Military and Strategic Studies, U.S. Air Force Academy, Colorado Springs, Colorado. Her previous assignment was Flight Chief and NCOIC at the 93rd Intelligence Squadron, Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, Texas.

Master Sergeant Bonnie Rushing enlisted in the Air Force in 2009 as an Airborne Cryptologic Language Analyst and qualified in Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, and Tagalog.  She flew and instructed onboard four Special Operations C-130 aircraft models for over 700 hours.  Sergeant Rushing deployed to Central and South American countries in support of humanitarian missions and international training events.  She is an avid ballroom dancer and has competed at the professional level.
