Bio

Lieutenant Colonel Ferguson is an Assistant Professor with the Department of Mathematical Sciences at the U.S. Air Force Academy. Her previous duties include Assistant Deputy Department Head for Academics, Dean of Faculty Mentor, Course Director for Calculus and Statistics core courses, Teaching Practicum Facilitator, Assistant Math Major Custodian, Math Major advisor, Squadron Ethics Advisor, and Technology Liaison.

Lieutenant Colonel Ferguson is a 1999 graduate of Colorado State University and was commissioned through the Reserve Officer Training Corps. She has served in various technical and training assignments across several commands, including strategic planning, program management, and operations assessment for the NATO Special Operations Component Command – Afghanistan / Special Operations Joint Task Force – Afghanistan; responsive and relevant analyses and decision support (including lessons learned) for 14th Air Force and the Joint Functional Component Command for Space; operational test and evaluation of the Space Based Infrared System’s Mission Control Station and Interim Mission Control Station; as well officer training at the Air Force’s Officer Training School and mathematics and statistics instruction at the U.S. Air Force Academy.
