Bio
Capt Nicholas Curtis is an Instructor of Astronautical Engineering at the U.S. Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, Colo.
Capt Curtis first entered the military in 2017 as a Cadet at the Academy, where he graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Astronautical Engineering in 2021 and commissioned into the U.S. Space Force as a Developmental Engineer. He went on to attend graduate school at Rice University in Houston, Texas as his first assignment. While at Rice, he earned a master’s degree in Materials Science and Nano Engineering. Following graduate school, Capt Curtis served as a program manager and engineering division lead at Space Systems Command before returning to the Academy to teach.
